If you have a question about the Financial Fitness for Life program that isn't listed
below, please feel free to submit it today.
Q: Are the materials based on curriculum standards?
A: Yes, each set of materials is based on national standards. Matrices showing how
the materials relate to national standards are provided within each of the teacher guides.
Q: Can the Parent Guides be used alone or do they have to be used with the rest of the curriculum?
A: The Parent Guides were designed to be used either alone or as an enhancement to the school
curriculum. The lessons throughout the Parent Guides are simple, with exercises parents can guide
or explore as a family.
Q: Am I allowed to photocopy from the printed materials or reproduce the printable lessons from the CD for use in my classroom?
A: Yes, if you've purchased the Teacher Resource Package. The Teacher Resource Package includes a set of all the print materials (teacher guide, student workouts, and parent guide) from one particular grade band (K-2, 3-5, 6-8, or 9-12), plus a copy of the CD-ROM, as well as a reproduction permission letter. To purchase the Teacher Resource Package today, visit the Council for Economic Education Store.
Q: I can not access the lessons from the CD, I get this error message: -1000 : Cannot find Adobe Acrobat ActiveX control?
A: The version that you are using is Version 1.0 -- the updated version is Version 2.0. All of the printed material is on the CD-ROM and is accessible. The process for accessing the printed material is to close out of the CD-ROM and than go to the CD and access the root directory of the program. You will see a directory labeled pdf, open the pdf directory and you will find all of the printed material in this directory. You can open these files and use them with your students.
